Pentek (Ametek) Slim Line®, Standard and Big Blue® Filter Housings

Pentair® Pentek Slim Line, Standard, and Big Blue Filter Housings are manufactured with reinforced polypropylene or clear Styrene-Acrylonitrile. The reinforced polypropylene cap offers an optional pressure relief button on the inlet side to relieve pressure inside the housing when changing filter cartridges.

Pentek (Ametek) Slim Line Filter Housings are an excellent choice for low-flow applications and when space and chemical compatibility are primary concerns. Big Blue Filter Housings offer large-capacity filtration, ideal for high flow and heavy sediment applications.

Pentek (Ametek) Slim Line & Standard Style Filter Housings are designed to fit standard 5”, 10” and 20” filter cartridges. Pentek (Ametek) Big Blue housings fit Big Blue style 10” and 20” length cartridges.

O-Ring Lubricant for Filter Housings (Not Included)

Molykote 111 compound is the recommended o-ring lubricant for use in water filters and water treatment systems including reverse osmosis membranes & pressure vessels, and filter housings. The high gade silicone lubricant does not harm the membrane or downstream equipment typically used in reverse osmosis and water treatment systems.
