EDI-Series Electrodeionization Water Purification Systems

AMI EDI Series Electrodeionization Systems are designed to polish the permeate from a reverse osmosis system. They provide continuous, chemical-free deionization.

Product water quality of up to 18 megaohms is achievable, depending on the incoming feed water quality to the EDI unit.

These systems are superior to traditional mixed-bed deionization systems in ease of use and maintenance — and they eliminate the need for chemical regeneration.

Modular in design, EDI systems can be scaled for various capacities and easily expanded as demand increases.

Common applications include ultrapure water production, USP grade water, water for injectables (WFI), and the removal of trace-level contaminants.

Final product water quality will vary with the incoming RO permeate water quality and the temperature of the water.
The incoming RO permeate must meet the specified quality requirements.

EDI-1XL100 to EDI-1XL500 are available in single phase only

Voltage Codes:

116 = 110v/ 1ph/ 60hz
216 = 220 or 230v/ 1ph/ 60hz
215 = 220v/1ph/50hz

EDI-2XL500 to EDI-6XL500 are available in three phase only

Voltage Codes:

236 = 220 or 230v/ 3ph/ 60hz
