Commonly used as concentrate control valves (also referred to as system pressure control valves) in large commercial or industrial RO, UF, MF, NF and SWRO Membrane Water Treatment Systems, globe valves use a movable disk plug to gradually open or close the water stream, allowing for precise regulation of flow.

Globe valves are ideal for continuous use applications where a liquid stream in a pipeline larger than ¾” must be maintained at a constant adjustable flow rate.

Benefits of Globe Valves for Commercial Water Treatment Systems

  • Allows precise regulation of flow in pipe sizes up to 2”
  • Easily adjustable with the turn of a handle
  • Suitable for continuous use applications
  • Controls system pressure and recovery when installed on the drain line of an RO system
